Desbravando o Oeste
Em meados do século 19, o senador William J. Tadlock lidera um grupo de colonos de fronteira numa jornada de 2.500 km em busca de terras no Oregon para iniciar um novo assentamento no Oeste Americano. Tadlock é um tirano com rígidos princípios e exigente, e é tão duro consigo mesmo como com aqueles que se juntaram à sua caravana.
